Privacy Policy

How we collect, use, and protect your personal data.

This Privacy Policy explains how The Makeover Group ("we", "us", "the Group") handles personal data collected through themakeovergroupco.com. We are based in Florence, Italy, and we process personal data in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

What we collect

When you submit a form on this site (for example, a Business Transformation Audit request or a contact enquiry), we collect the information you provide, which may include your name, email address, company, role, revenue range, and the details of your enquiry.

How we use it

We use your information only to respond to your enquiry, assess fit for our services or partnerships, and communicate with you about your request. We do not sell your data, and we do not share your details with third parties except service providers who help us operate the site and our communications, under appropriate confidentiality terms.

Legal basis

We process your data on the basis of your consent and our legitimate interest in responding to and evaluating business enquiries.

Business contacts and prospecting

We, including our accounting line TMG Books, may contact professionals at companies whose activities make our services relevant to them, for example foreign companies with work or operations in Italy. Because this data is not collected directly from you, this section gives you the information required by GDPR Article 14.

Data we process: your name, job title, employer, business email address and the address of your public professional profile, with a short note of why your company is relevant (for example, a public project or job posting).

Where it comes from: publicly available business sources, such as company websites, public professional networking profiles (for example LinkedIn), public registers and official tender notices (for example the EU's TED database and Italy's ANAC open data), news and press releases. Before emailing, we may check that a business email address is deliverable using an email verification service.

Legal basis: legitimate interest (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). We contact people only in their professional capacity, only where our services are plausibly relevant to their role and company, and every message tells you how to stop further contact. We do not send unsolicited marketing emails to contacts based in Italy.

Your right to object: you can object at any time, free of charge (GDPR Article 21). Reply "no" to any of our messages, or email hello@yourtmg.com, and we will stop contacting you. We keep only your email address on a suppression list so that we do not contact you again.

How long we keep it: up to 12 months from our last contact if no business relationship follows, then deleted. A suppression-list entry is kept for as long as needed to respect your objection.

Service providers: we use an email sending platform (Instantly, United States, covered by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses in its data processing agreement), an email verification service (NeverBounce, United States) and a data-extraction platform for public business information (Apify). Transfers outside the EEA rely on appropriate safeguards such as the Standard Contractual Clauses. Our full policy for TMG Books is at tmgbooks.com/privacy.html.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any resulting relationship, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@themakeovergroupco.com.
